The work consists of installing a fully functional video monitoring system by completely and successfully integrating Government and contractor supplied instrumentation. At minimum, this system shall consist of multiple monochrome camera stations, a system controller and recording/display instrumentation. Each camera station must have remotely controlled night-vision, pan/tilt and zoom/focus functions. The system must reliably monitor the water-borne approaches to the site and time-lapse record maritime actions within these areas. The nine locations are within the confines of the New Orleans District, and include Calcasieu Lock, Lake Charles, LA; Schooner Bayou Control Structure, Kaplan, LA; Leland Bowman Lock, Abbeville, LA; Calcasieu River Saltwater Barrier, West Lake, LA; Catfish Point Control Structure, Creole, LA; Harvey Lock, Harvey, LA; Bayou Sorrel Lock, Plaquemine, LA; Berwick Lock, Berwick, LA; BayouBoeuf Lock, Morgan City, LA. The contractor shall ensure products provided under this procurement to include hardware, software, firmware, and middleware, whether acting alone or combined as a system, are Year 2000 compliant as defined in FAR Part 39.
