Service requires the Model K-910B and Model CT-30 portable contraband
detection kits, which are proprietary products of Campbell Security
Equipment Company of Pleasant Hill, California. This equipment uses
gamma ray backscatter technology with a radioactive source of Barium
133 (with a half life of 11 years) not to exceed 10 uCi. The government
intends to negotiate only with Campbell Security Equipment Company for
a requirements type contract to include one base year and four option
