The National Institutes of Health Library intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Cell Press, 1050 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA. 02138, to enter into a twelve month license agreement that allows access of online journals Cell,Immunity, Neuron and Molecular Cell. These online journals serve as propriety interfaces developed for exculsive use with Cell Press. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this requirement. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. The purchase order will be awarded in fifeteen calendar days after publication of this notice. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be consideredby the agency.
