The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington intends to place a sole-source purchase order with the Center for Occupational Research and Development (601 Lake Air Drive, Waco, TX 76710) on behalf of the Naval Recruiting Command (NRC). This order will provide membership for the NRC in the Center's "Library of the Workplace" (LOWP). LOWP is used in secondary schools to raise career awareness among students. The Center will produce a website featuring four sailors with 3-4 video clips and 7-8 audio clips per sailor. The estimated price for membership in the LOWP is $35,000. The Center is the only known vendor that offers this service in a focused website that reaches a large number of students at the secondary education level.
