INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EXPO -- DEPARTMENT OF STATE'S MAIN STATE EXHIBIT HALL There will be a one day information technology expo held at the Department of State's Main State Exhibit Hall on Tuesday, June 15, 1999. It is entitled, "The Small Business Exposition." This event is sponsored by the office of small and disadvantaged business utilization. Their mission is to promote small business, women owned, 8-A Firms, and disadvantaged business to the Department of State. The primary target for this event is the promotion of companies that specialize in office supply products, energy efficient "green products," office furniture, environmental products, and related products and services. Vendors that specialize in information technology products are asked to exhibit in our other regular DOS events which are held quarterly. The event will be held at the main state location in Washington DC, between 10am and 2pm. The estimate attendee rate for the DOS small business event is between 200 -250 attendees.
