THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The work will be performed at Lower Granite and Little Goose Dams and will upgrade the existing manually operated orifice valve control systems for automated control. There are a total of 36 orifice control valves at each project, for a total of 72, which will be modified as follows: (1) replace manual control valve with automatic 4-way solenoid operated valve; (2) add 2-way solenoid operated backflush valve; (3) install miscellaneous piping and appurtenances; (4) fabricate limit switch brackets, and install an open and a closed limit switch for each orifice valve; (5) install wireway system consisting of rigid galvanized steel conduit and cast boxes; (6) install 14 gage control wiring; (7) install enclosures for electrical equipment; (8) provide core drill floor penetrations at Lower Granite Dam.
