Natick MA is conducting a market investigation to identify sources
capable of providing structural closure systems for chemical and
biological hardened tentage. These closure systems, such as waterproof
zippers, interlocking track mechanisms, pressure sensitive reusable
adhesives, electro-mechanical, or magnetic closures, shall prevent the
migration of liquid into an internally over-pressured environment.
These closures would be used in entryways/airlocks, duct connections,
and modular liner connections. Closure halves should be fully
separable, not connected at either termination point. Firms may submit
concept papers, product literature, samples, etc. However, any
information submitted will not be returned. If a firm chooses to submit
samples, the Government will make no payment for such samples or for
any data submitted. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation
document is available at this time. The information received under this
market survey may be used to formulate an acquisition strategy. Please
submit information to the following address: U.S. Army SBCCOM, SSC.
