The U.S. Geological Survey intends to procure from a sole source, Frontier Geosciences, providing all of the measurements of the vaious mercury species with the following detection limits as part of the vendors routine capabilities: mercury total in water sample .02ng/L MethylHg in water sample .005ng/L ionic Hg in water sample .005ng/L elemental Hg in water sample .001ng/L MethylHg total in sediment sample .05ng/g.
