The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), in cooperation with the
Payette National Forest (FS) and Valley County, is planning to repair
intermittent flood damage to Forest Developement Road (FDR) 340 in the
Elk Creek Drainage between the confluence of Elk Creek with the South
Fork Salmon River and Elk Summit. FDR 340 is also known as the
Warren-Profile Gap Road, Idaho In accordance with The Endangered
Species Act, biological opinions require FHWA to seek the services of
a company to provide a Fisheries Biologist to monitor for presence and
spawning activity of bull trout, chinook salmon and steelhead. This
notice is being issued for sources and is set-a-side for small business
(FAR13.105) under simplified asquisition procedures (FAR13.104)
