The work consists of completing a cultural resource survey, evaluating
the historic mining remains located within the project area, and
documenting these efforts in a report. The project area is located in
the Esterly Lakes Area of the Grants Pass Resource Area, Medford
District, Oregon. The project area totals an estimated 6,770 acres, of
which a minimum of 55% (3,726 acres) shall be surveyed. This contract
includes an option for a scripted slide presentation, suitable for a
general audience, concerning the local history and emphasizing the
mining history and landscape changes related to mining of the project
area and vicinity. As the number of solicitation packages for this
procurement is limited, they will be made available to parties having
a legitimate interest on a first-come, first-served basis (FAR
5.102(a)). All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be
