Officer This requirement is sole source to McDonnell Douglas
Helicopter Company d.b.a. McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems, Mesa,
AZ 85215-9707. The U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command has a
requirement to support Government Testing of the AN/ALQ-211 suite of
integrated radio frequency countermeasures (SIRFC) on LB#5. The
contractor shall provide a proposal for validating the integration of
the SIRFC into the AH-64D and insure that the aircraft, in particular,
the aircraft side of the AH-64D-to-SIRFC interface, supports the
program objectives. Prime integrator tasks include, but are not limited
to: (a) Updating and maintaining the interface agreement between the
contractor and the SIRFC prime contractor, ITT Avionics (hereafter,
ITT) that facilitates the mutual exchange of data, provides for mutual
access to relevant personnel, equipment and facilities, and forms the
contractual basis for the creation and maintenance of an AH-64D/SIRFC
interface control document. (b) Chairing the AH-64D/SIRFC interface
control working group (ICWG), (c) Publishing the final AH-64D/SIRFC
interface control document,(d) Assisting ITT with related AH-64D/SIRFC
integration issues. (e) Preparing other program documentation as
required by the SOW and/or by good business practice. The contractor,
as prime integrator, will not be responsible for the performance of the
SIRFC itself -- The anticipated contract type is cost plus fixed fee.
