The USSAH is a Continuing Care Retirement Community of approximately 1150 retired and former members of the Armed Forces with an average age of 74. The contract shall include pick-up and delivery services. The Contractor's facility must be within a 100-mile radius of Washington, D.C. Work shall be picked up twice daily (approximately 11:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. local time) each day Monday through Friday except Government observed holidays. No transfer of work shall be accomplished by use of the US Mail, UPS or other type of shipping system. The Contractor shall have three (3) years of substantial experience in all phases of items described in the solicitation to include the implant procedure. The award will be based on best value. The technical proposal is limited to five pages. The evaluation factors are 1) Experience and Capability to provide dental laboratory services, 2) Management/Technical Approach, and 3) Price. This is a simplified acquisition for commercial items up to 5 million in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13.
