The Coast Guard Aviation Training Center, Mobile, AL, requires Facilities Maintenance Services for a base period from 1 October 1999 through 30 September 2000 with four one-year options. FAR 52.217-8 will be included to allow for an additional 6 months extension at the end of the contract. The services include all supervision, labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies, and tools necessary to provide Facilities Maintenance of the Coast Guard Base in Mobile. Services shall be rendered FOB Destination to the Coast Guard Base in Mobile, AL. The major services required includes the following: Maintenance of Food Service Equipment; Transportation Operation and Maintenance Services; Maintenance and Repair of Electrical Systems; Maintenance and Repair of Heating Systems; Maintenance and Repair of Water Distribution Systems; Maintenance and Repair of Sewage Systems; Maintenance and Repair of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Plants and Systems; Maintenance and Repair of Buildings and Structures; Grounds Maintenance; Surface Areas Maintenance; Trash Collection and Disposal; and Fire Protection and Prevention Services. The type of contract will be a commercial type firm fixed price contract. Most services and standing work will be covered under the fixed price portion of the contract; however, provisions will be included in the contract to place job orders under some Requirements Type Contract provisions in the contract. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business with SIC Code 8744 assigned. The size standard is $20.0 million. Price, technical and past performance will be considered in the award of this contract.
