The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Spokane Research Laboratory, intends to purchase on a sole sources basis two TestStar IIs Conroller upgrades, one for a 24,000 pound uniaxial test machine and one for a 1,000,000 pound uniaxial test machine with provisions to operate both machines with the same hydraulic power supply from MTS Systems Corp, 14000 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344-2290. The controller upgrades include(1)MTS Model 498.01 Chasis with floor standing enclosure, (2)MTS Model 493.05 Remote Station Control Panel, (3)MTS Model 493.21 Universal Conditioner, (4)493.14 Two stage Valve Driver, (5)Remote Emergency Stop, (6)493.07 Pump Interface, 24V, No HSM, (7)115VAC Hydraulic Service Manifold Interface, (8)Ethernet/Workstation Link Cable, 10'/3m, (09)all connectors, cables, adapters to operate existing sensors and controls (10)Service and Installation, (11)793.05 AdapTrac (TM) Amplitude Phase Control, (12)793.00 System Software (CD) with TestStar IIs System Software Key and one year Lifecycle Software Agreement, (13)793.10 MultiPurpose TestWare, and (14)Two copies of 793.10 MulitPurpose TestWare. All interested parties may identify their interests, but must provide proof,in writing, an acceptable product by submitting pricing data, an accurate description of the equipment offered, and make and model of controllers. Since no solicition package exists, requests for such documents without accompanying information to establish the vendor's capabiity of meeting the Government's needs will be considered non-responsive to this symopsis. Only responses containing this data will be considered for the purpose of determing whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will not be made on the basis of responses to this symopsis. If no fesible responses are received by the close of business 15 days from the date this notice appears in the CBD, a procurement will be made with the above-named source.
