SP -- ELECTRIC-HYDRAULIC DRIVE UNITS, INTERCHANGE MEETING NASA/Johnson Space Center will be conducting an interchange meeting for the Orbiter Electric Auxiliary Power Units. The purpose of the meeting is to a.) Open, informal discussion of electric requirements and environments applicable to the Orbiter electric APU with government and contractor participants. b.) Need for clearer understanding of existing EMI, radiation, and parts selection requirements applicable to the Orbiter electric APU upgrade. c.) High operating voltage (270 VDC) and use of modern day electronic components and technologies creates a need to update existing orbiter requirements.
