The work to be accomplished under this contract consists of demolition, removal and disposal of buildings on the Aroostook NWR, the area of the former Loring Air Force Base, Maine. At the Contractor's option, an on-site disposal area will be made available to dispose of inert demolition debris only. Existing concrete slabs on grade and foundations below grade may remain in place. All asbestos-containing materials in the buildings have been removed. All utility systems have been de-energized and disconnected. Estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The SIC code for this acquisition is 1795; size standard is $7.0 million. This procurement is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered.
