SUBINSTALLATIONS, WESTERN WASHINGTON, WESTERN OREGON SOL

Sherrell (206)764-3203 (SITE Code DACA67) The Seattle District Corps of
Engineers is soliciting proposals for multiple award, multi-year
contracts to perform multidisciplinary maintenance, repair and minor
construction work in support of military and civil construction
projects at Fort Lewis, WA and Fort Lewis Subinstallations in Western
Washington, Western Oregon. Two indefinite delivery, indefinite
quantity contracts are anticipated to be awarded as a result of this
solicitation. As requirements develop, Task Orders will be issued on a
competitive or sole source basis to the awardees of this solicitation,
at the Government's option. Awardee may also compete with other sources
(e.g. 8(a) contractsor existing MATOCs). A seed project (to be
determined) will be awarded to one of the MATOC Contractors for
projects. Projects may vary from 100 percent design to design-build in
nature. Each contract will include a base year and two option periods.
Maximum value of all work awarded under the MATOC will be limited to
$10 million per period or $30 million over the life of the contracts.
Task Order minimum and Maximum limits are $50,000 and $5,000,000
respectively.AVAILABILITY: This Solicitation will be issued as an
Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-Rom format only. EBS CD-ROM disks with
plans and specs available on or about 15 Jun 99 at no charge per set.
EBS CD-ROM disks will be issued on a first come, first served basis
until supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted. Refer to IFB
Number DACA67-99-R-0048 when ordering. Requests MUST BE IN WRITING and
be received before bid documents will be mailed. Requests may be made:

plans-room-cenws-ct@usace.army.mil, or (3) by completing the web
request form for the solicitation listed at

confirmation copy of your request need not be mailed. Please be sure to
include if you are a Prime, Sub or Plans Room. EBS CD-ROMs may be
picked up from the Plans Room Monday thru Friday between the hours of
7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Submit requests by June 10, 1999. Standard
Industrial Classification Code is 1542. Project is open to both large
and small business. *If you are a large business and your bid or
proposal will exceed $1,000,000 you will be required to submit a
subcontracting plan. *For the purposes of this procurement a concern is
considered a small business if its average annual receipts are $17
