This is a market survey to identify equipment compliant with the Milstar Fixed Site SCAMP Terminal Production Performance Specification A3268345, Revision B, dated 3 November 1998. The SCAMP terminal is an EHF ground terminal that communicates with the Milstar satellite constellation and other EHF satellites compliant to MIL-STD-1582D (SECRET NOFORN). The FSS will provide fixed sites with secure, robust, and jam-resistant receipt of EAM data. EAM reception will be provided 24 hours every day in all weather conditions and High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP)stressed environments. An FSS unique, non-critical spare is an item which is determined as "unique" to FSS (not used in normal SCAMP applications) which can be removed and replaced in the field by the user. An FSS unique critical spare is an item which fails in the field and it is considered "critical" that it be replaced. Interested sources should identify equivalent warranty services of the FSS unique critical and non-critical spares which can meet the Government's requirements and must be available for immediate procurement. The Government has in its' possession Milstar and related specifications which are classified SECRET NOFORN and will only be made available for viewing by authorized DOD contractors with the required security clearances in accordance with the Milstar Classification Guide. Rockwell Collins, Richardson, TX is the current supplier of the FSS unique critical and non-critical items.
