required by the Soil-Plant-Nutrient Research Unit, Fort Collins, CO.
Drill shall have planting capability for small grains, beans, peas,
prosomillet, canola, alfalfa, safflower and sunflowers. Shall also have
precision (depth control and seed rate) seeding in no-till and tilled
conditions, ability to place grain and dry fertilizer in the same row
simutaneously, capable of seeding in 7.5 and 15 inch row spacings, two
ranks of seed/fertilizer openers and shall have a heavy duty frame to
support the weight of the grain/fertilizer box. Drill width is 10 feet
operational with maximum width not to exceed 11 feet, etc. Posted
