(301)-504-1744 The U.S Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking
sources to perform a study to investigate issues on how food stamp
policies and local administrative practices affect food stamp
participation on a national scale. This study will examine how client
participation has been affected as a result of changes in the Food
Stamp Program, and include research on eligible non-participants and
local welfare office's operations associated with welfare reform. The
contract performance period shall be continuous for 27 months after
award with two options which will expand on the objectives of the study
that will be performed in conjunction with the basic contract. Issuance
of the solicitation for this project will begin 24 May 1999. You may
