Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, Valley Resident Office projects, Sacramento and Yuba City areas, California. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. JOB DESCRIPTION: Up to two indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, firm, fixed-price type contracts will be awarded for a variety of quality assurance testing services for projects in the Sacramento and Yuba City areas of California. This procurement will be 50% Small Business set-aside and 50% Unrestricted. One contract will be awarded to a Small Business and one contract will be awarded unrestricted. If more than one contract is awarded, selection for task order awards will be made as follows: Both awardees will be given a fair opportunity to be considered for each task order in excess of $2,500; In making selection of the awardee to receive a specific task order,the timeliness of deliverables, etc. SIC CODE: This procurement will be conducted under SIC code 8734. The size standard for this SIC code is: $5.0 Million. All responsible sources may submit a bid or proposal which will be considered by the agency. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The Performance Period for this procurement will be a Base Year and Two Option Years. The Option Years will be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The Not to Exceed dollar amounts will be NTE $500,000 per year per contract. The minimum guaranteed amounts on each will be $10,000.00 for the Base Year and $5,000.00 for each option year, if the option years are exercised. ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. Plans and specifications for this project must be ordered by the cut-off date of 06/07/99 to ensure receipt of bid sets. Orders received beyond the CUT OFF DATE 06/07/99, will not be honored.
