SOURCES SOUGHT FOR CONTRACT SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE KUWAIT SECURITY ASSISTANCE LIAISON OFFICES, SOL N00421-99-R-1506, DUE DATE 25 MAY 99. The purpose of this notice is to identify small business firms that have specific experience in performing the following tasks. Tasks consist of providing engineering support, financial support, and administrative support for the Kuwait Security Assistance Liaison Offices (KSALO) in the following locations (Arlington, VA; San Antonio, TX; and Philadelphia, PA). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, interfacing with the Department of the Navy and other Department of Defense (DOD) activities that provide support for the Kuwait F/A-18 aircraft and other military weapon systems. All parties that have or will have the capability to provide the services listed below should submit the following information. A detailed capability report, not to exceed five pages that specifically addresses the following areas: (1) Ability to provide transportation of personnel; (2) USN logistics utilization support; (3) Ability to provide technical analysis in the areas of Avionics, Aircraft Engines, Ordinance, and Aircraft Configuration Management as it relates to the F/A-18 aircraft; (4) Ability to manage multiple geographical field locations. In addition, the firms shall provide a resume for an Administrative Assistant that will be assigned to the contract, who possess all pertinent knowledge and expertise pertaining to oral and written communication through Arabic translation. Any other additional information that could be useful in determining your firm's ability to meet this requirement is strongly encouraged. The length of the contract contemplated is for five years which includes a base year, and four, one year options.
