DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY (DISA) ACQUISITION AND LOGISTICS REFORM DAY The Defense Information Systems Agency will be hosting it's Acquisition Reform Day on 7 June 1999 at the DLA Auditorium at 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Fort Belvoir, VA from 8:00 a.m. -- 3:30 p.m. The focus of this conference will be to provide the latest information and training related to acquisition reform initiatives both within DISA and at the DOD level. This year's conference will preview upcoming acquisition tools in development: DISA Direct and Acquisition Front End, which will assist requirements offices with acquisitions; Acquisition Reform Impacts: a Contractor's View; DISA's Small Business Vision; Building ILS into a Statement of Work; and recent acquisition related WEB improvements. In addition, the Keynote speaker for this year will be Mr. Stan Soloway, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition Reform) and Director, Defense Reform Office.
