JOB DESCRIPTION: All access roads, the entire circulation road within the Acorn East Campground area, and all campground spurs will receive a 2" overlay of asphalt concrete. Project consists of patching potholes and cracks in the existing AC pavement surfaces, and placing geotextile filter fabric over all existing AC pavement prior to placing a 2" AC overlay. Work also includes providing drainage pipes and culverts. In addition, two parking lots will be constructed. The parking lots will be bladed slightly to prepare the ground surface for a 4" layer of aggregate base course (ABC) and then placing a 2" AC overlay over the ABC. 6" AC diking will be required around the perimeter of the newly paved parking lots. Work will also include pavement markings. AC lined drainage ditches will be required to prevent further erosion of specific areas around the new parking lots. Earth lined ditches will also be required in various areas to divert runoff away from the all newly paved AC surfaces. Refer to the plans and specifications for the proposed design. SIC CODE: This procurement will be conducted under SIC code:1611. The size standard for this SIC code is: $17,000,000.00. Estimated cost is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
