Pave Acorn East Campround, New Hogan Lake, CA This proposed contract is
set-aside for small business. JOB DESCRIPTION: All access roads, the
entire circulation road within the Acorn East Campground area, and all
campground spurs will receive a 2" overlay of asphalt concrete.
Project consists of patching potholes and cracks in the existing AC
pavement surfaces, and placing geotextile filter fabric over all
existing AC pavement prior to placing a 2" AC overlay. Work also
includes providing drainage pipes and culverts. In addition, two
parking lots will be constructed. The parking lots will be bladed
slightly to prepare the ground surface for a 4" layer of aggregate base
course (ABC) and then placing a 2" AC overlay over the ABC. 6" AC
diking will be required around the perimeter of the newly paved parking
lots. Work will also include pavement markings. AC lined drainage
ditches will be required to prevent further erosion of specific areas
around the new parking lots. Earth lined ditches will also be required
in various areas to divert runoff away from the all newly paved AC
surfaces. Refer to the plans and specifications for the proposed
design. SIC CODE: This procurement will be conducted under SIC
code:1611. The size standard for this SIC code is: $17,000,000.00.
Estimated cost is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. For more

OFF DATE of 06/17/99 to ensure receipt of bid sets at a cost of $7.00
for Specifications (text only); and $4.00 Full size drawings. Plans and
Specifications can only be ordered electronically by accessing internet
address http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ Please complete the requested
information to avoid a delay in your order. Orders received beyound the
CUT OFF DATE, 06/17/99 will not be honored. Plans and specifications
will be mailed out on or about 06/25/99 and checks should be recieved
by 06/25/99. Because a limited number of sets will be reproduced,
copies are limited to one set per firm. Payment by company check,
certified check or money order made payable to the Finance and
Accounting Officer, USAED, Sacramento. Mail check to ATTN: Plan Room,
