All work shall be in strict conformance with applicable laws, standards, regulations, specifications and drawings, and shall include all materials, labor, plant tools, equipment and services necessary and incidental thereto. The work required to be performed by the contractor consists of but is not limited to replacement of the existing HVAC System, related appurtenances and hot water heater and balance of the new air distribution system for new design requirements. The project also includes renovation of the existing Photo Lab, surrounding area, construction of four dressing rooms and the removal of asbestos floor tile. All asbestos abatement work shall be accomplished by a EPA accredited and a Texas licensed abatement contractor. Performance period is thirty (30) days. Project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. Bonding or Alternative Payment Protection is required. Request for quotation DADA10-99-Q-0245 to be issued on or about 27 May 99 with a closing date of approximately 30 days later. This is a 100% small business set aside. There is a twenty dollar ($20.00) charge for each soliciation package payable to U. S. Treasury and annotated with the applicable solicitation number.
