materials, vehicles, supervision,and other items and services necessary
to perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) and remedial/on
call repairs of land mobile radio communications equipment and systems
at Tinker AFB, OK. in accordance with the standards in the Statement
of Work. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued electronically
and may be obtained exclusively by accessing the Tinker AFB PKO
Business Opprtunities Website (the link to the website is listed
below). Approximate issue date of the RFP is June 9,1999. The
government will consider all proposals submitted by responsible
offerors. The RFP will not be mailed or faxed. Any references to faxed
or written requests for the RFP contained elsewhere in this notice are

to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the
proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the
Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or
contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues,
disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government
personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict
confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not
participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection
