This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation document and no other solicitation document will be issued. Solicitation number DTCG38-99-Q-100055 is assigned to this procurement for tracking purposes only. All references to "offers" are understood to be "quotations". The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. The US Coast Guard Aircraft Repair & Supply Center seeks to award a purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items for the repair of (2), P/N MY20331-16, Horizontal Stabilizer Assy . This equipment is used in support of the HU25 Falcon aircraft. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3728 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions and clauses apply: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Aug 1998); 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999) The following factors, in descending order of importance, shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical capability of the item to meet the Government's requirement, price and past performance. All labeling shall be imprinted with the appropriate National Stock Number, Part Number, and Purchase Order number. Labeling data shall be attached to the outside of the shipping container. Inspection and acceptance to ensure items are in accordance with manufacturer specifications will be performed at destination.
