FOR ADA COMPLIANCES AT USCG TRAINING CENTER CAPE MAY, NJ SOL DTCG83-99-B-QNL027 POC Audrey Overholt Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision required for the new construction of and the modification of certain existing physical barriers/conditions of the Admin Bldg. #269, USCG Training Center, Cape May, NJ. Work includes but it not limited to: 1) Design, construct and install a new hydraulically operated passenger elevator, designed for a minimum of 3500 lbs, single clear three foot six inch sliding door opening, minimum inside car clearance of six foot nine inches by five foot five inches, to operate within a fully enclosed new masonry shaft building, complete with all necessary electrical and mechanical support equipment that shall provide a complete system in compliance with applicable ADA requirements and function as designed by the approved elevator manufacturer. The new elevator shall operate between the first and second floors. This will also include the modification and installation of a new second floor deck enclosure. 2) Fabricate and permanently install a newaluminum ramp. 3) Remove indicated existing rear entrance doors located on the first and second floors, modify openings and install new entrance doors. 4) Remove existing rear concrete steps and replace with new reinforced concrete steps. 5) Provide and install/replace new upgraded appendages at identified locations throughout both floors of the Admin Bldg. and 6) Remove all existing aluminum railings, replace with new bronze finish aluminum railing.
