Power Supplies and Set Up for the Pioneer Unmanned Aerial Vehicle SOL N00421-99-Q-1124 DUE 062399 POC Jennifer Alvey, Contract Specialist, (301)757-9074 The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to procure 5 each power supplies (Milpower Source, Incorporated, Part Number E732A) and set up for the Pioneer Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Program which currently supports the Navy and Marine Corps by providing logistic support to the fleet users. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis with Milpower Source, Incorporated, Belknap Industrial Park, RR 106, Belmont, New Hampshire 03220. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. Milpower Source, Incorporated is the original equipment manufacturer and the only authorized supplier of the power supplies. Milpower Source, Incorporated owns the proprietary data rights to the power supplies. This will be a firm fixed price contract.
