This is a pre-notice of the U.S. Department of Commerce(DoC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Financial Administration (OFA) acquisition for a telecommunications diverse routing network. Solicitation 52-DKNA-9-90036 package will be available via the inter-net within 30 days from the date of this notice and an amendment to this notice will provide the URL address. DoC/NOAA/OFA has an acquisition for a telecommunications diverse routing network at the NOAA locations in the Washington DC area. The contractor shall provide the necessary services, personnel, supervision, and equipment for a new telecommunications network that is to provide NOAA/OFA with a new metropolitan area network (MAN) that will protect critical telecommunications services by using routing diversity. The contract period of performance will be one (1) year plus four (4) option years. This acquisition will be conducted under full and open competitive procedures. All interested parties will be invited to download the solicitation from the inter-net.
