to purchase sixty two (62) Nickel -- Cadmium = Battery packs, NSN
6140-01-319-9600, (Eagle-Picher Technologies P/N MAP-9270 or
equivalent) in accord with Rockwell Collins Specification Control =
drawing 221-0133. The Government intends to award a sole source
purchase order = to Eagle-Picher Technologies, Joplin, MO under FAR
6.302-1(a) for these batteries in the next 30 days for delivery within
120 days ARO. Each battery pack is approximately 1.17 inch x 1.74 inch
x 3.90 inch in = dimension and contains 12 1.5VDC AA nickel -- cadmium
batteries in an opaque epoxy = mold (Scotch Cast No 8 or equivalent)
with a Litton USCO Part No 7787 or equivalent connector socket. The
battery packs are to be used in = Milstar Time Standard Modules,
Rockwell P/N 822-0160-001. Electrical = requirements are: capacity 0.7
Amp hrs at 0.2C, nominal discharge 10mA, max = discharge 70 mA, max
constant current charge 90mA, recommended 70mA for 16 hrs. Operational
temperature range is: (1) Storage: -40=B0Cto +55=B0C; = (2) Discharge:
-20=B0C to +55=B0C; and, (3) Charge: 0=B0C to +55=B0C. The = battery
pack is currently produced by Eagle-Picher Technologies, Joplin, Mo,
CAGE = Code 81855. The batteries being procured will be used for
testing, and it = is important that they be identical to the existing
Eagle-Picher batteries = used in Milstar TSMs. Any other interested
persons should identify their interest and capability to respond to
