Michael Dodd, SEA 02522, (703) 602-8000 Ext 568 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions for a period of up to three years under a new Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-99-G-5222 with Northrop Grumman Norden Systems (NGNS) of 65 Marcus Drive, Melville, NY 11747. Orders will be issued for field engineering services and support for Ordnance Alteration (ORDALT) Kit installation of the AN/SPQ-9B Radar System. This includes field engineering services and support for installation, checkout, testing, or repair of equipment, alterations, field change kits, engineering changes, and peripheral equipment associated with the AN/SPQ-9B Radar System. NGNS is the original designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the AN/SPQ-9B Radar System. Therefore, no other firm possesses the technical expertise required to perform the work that will be required by the Government. This BOA will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
