The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Northrop Grumman. Requirement is for P/N A51S29062-5, Power Assembly Adapter. The item is Peculiar Support Equipment, which is used to support the F14 Aircraft. The proposed acquisition is for an item for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings. Delivery for two (2) Power Assembly Adapters are required ASAP. Delivery for the remaining eight (8) is required by 30 Nov 1999. NAWCADLKE intends to procure this item, quanity of ten (10), under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice in solely within the discretion of the Government.
