89 -- BREAD PRODUCTS SUPPLY FOR THE U.S. PENITENTIARY, TERRE HAUTE, INDIANA SOL RFQ 0116-0247 DUE 072299 POC Doug Fear, Contracting Officer, Phone: (606) 253-8894 The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a firm fixed price requirements type contract to a qualified individual or business for the supply of bakery products to the United States Penitentiary, Terre Huate, Indiana. The successful contractor shall deliver these products to the institution twice weekly. The products are to include: sliced white, wheat, rye, and thick style breads, hamburger, hotdog, english muffin, hoagie, and dinner style rolls, french style bread, and kosher white and wheat loaf. All products are to be produced in "all vegetable shortening." This solicitation is unrestricted. The contract period will be for twelve months from the date of award. The anticipated issue date of solicitation is June 22, 1999, with an anticipated reciept of offers due by July 23, 1999. Anticipated award date is October 1, 1999. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered for award.
