89 -- COFFEE EQUIPMENT SUPPLY AND SERVICE FOR THE FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTER, LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY SOL RFQ 123-001-0 DUE 072099 POC Doug Fear, Contracting Officer, Phone: (606) 253-8894 The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a supply/service contract to the qualified individual or business capable of providing coffee equipment and supplies for the Federal Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. Services include: supplying seven coffee dispensing systems, utilizing a self-contained, boxed, frozen, concentrated coffee which when dispensed will be mixed with hot water to produce a 8 oz. cup of medium strength coffee. Coffee types should be caffeinated and non-caffeinated, with deliveries to be once per month. Maintenance of the equipment is also required, with quarterly preventative maintenance checks. Requirements include: at least one year of prior coffee equipment maintenance and supply experience. This solicitation is unrestricted. The contract period will be for twelve months from the date of award. The anticipated issue date of solicitation is June 18, 1999, with an anticipated reciept of offers due by July 20, 1999. Anticipated award date is October 1, 1999. It is anticipatedthat this solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements type contract.
