Hess, (301) 394-5332 The Army Research Laboratory (ARL) is in the process of developing hardware and software technologies for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I). This effort begins with basic research and development (R&D) and may carry through advanced development and prototype fielding. The goal of this effort is to demonstrate integrated command, control, and intelligence functionality for tactical commanders using a combination of existing and newly developed technologies. The contractor shall provide analysis, architectural definition, detailed design and development, and engineering support to accomplish the Government's mission of developing C4I systems and technology for application to battlefield information systems. A favorable National Agency Check shall be required for contractor personnel working on the resultant contract prior to the award of the contract.
