The Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC), Medical Imaging department wishes to identify companies that can provide information regarding a Teleradiology System that meets PIMC's needs. PIMC intends to purchase or lease a teleradiology system. PIMC provides health care services to American Indian and Alaska Natives. This Medical Center is a major acute care referral hospital. It is the hub of a geographically dispersal health care delivery system that includes ten Service Units in a three State region. Annual outpatient encounters exceed 200,000 and inpatient discharges are approximately 5,284. The Medical Imaging department has an annual workload of 34,000 exams per year. In addition, the radiologist interpret 30,000 films annually from other rural providers within our service network. It is PIMC's goal to become electronically linked with these facilities via a teleradiology system. The PIMC Medical Imaging department is interested in obtaining this information, and has compiled a Teleradiology SystemSurvey Package.
