V -- GOVERNMENT TRAVELER WEB SITE The following notice is a request for information only. It is not a pre-solicitation notice and firms should not respond by requesting to be placed on a solicitation mailing list. The Department of Transportation (DOT) is considering the establishment of a travel utility -- a web site for federally funded government travelers. A draft Statement of Work, proposal instructions, and evaluation criteria for a possible solicitation are available for comment at http://eps.gov (see the listings for Department of Transportation under the posted date of May 25, 1999). In addition, DOT will be hosting a pre-solicitation conference for interested parties on June 10, 1999 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the FAA Auditorium (3rd Floor), 800 Indpendence Avenue, S.W., Washington, DC 20591. Please provide notification of attendance by sending an electronic mail message to finance@ost.dot.gov. Comments and questions on the draft documents are requested by the date of the pre-solicitation conference, but will be accepted by June 14, 1999, and should be sent to finance@ost.dot.gov.
