Z -- OFFICE BUILD-OUT OF EXISTING SHELL SPACE SOL USDC-99-Q-0007 DUE 072399 POC Mr. Fernandez, Contracting Officer, 305-523-5075 The project consist of office build-out of an existing shell space, approximately 6000 square feet in size, with an existing lay-in ceiling at 11 feet above finish floor. The location of this project is at the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, 300 NE First Ave, Miami,Fl. This project will furnish and install but not limited to walls, doors, counters, cabinet work, electrical outlets, telecommunication outlets and possible reconfiguring of light fixtures. The contractor is required to provide all labor, tools, supplies, materials, parts, quality control, supervision, transportation, coordination, and facilities to effect all work in accordance with specifications/drawings, for a complete functional work area. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The work area is available from 7:30a.m. to 6:00p.m. Monday through Friday, except for federal holidays. The performance period is 60 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). Notice to Proceed to be issued within 90calendar days after award. SIC Code is 1542 with a size standard of $17.0M. All contractor's employee (including subcontractors) assigned to work at the courthouse are subject to a NCIC and local police records check prior to be allowed to work. Any employee receiving an unfavorable clearance will not be allowed at the courthouse complex. Upon request by the contracting officer, the contractor shall provide all personal data required, in order to conduct the security checks. All contractors are required to be licensed and insured. Contractor's vehicles must display the contractor's name such that it is clearly visible. The RFQ solicitation may be available in June or July 99. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. A site visit is scheduled for July 6, 1999 at 9:00a.m., this date however is subject to change. Request for this RFQ solicitation to be honored from contractors located within 100 miles from Miami, Fl. A limited number of this RFQ solicitation will be printed thus copies will be distributed ona "first-come-first-served" basis.
