Vendors with existing products are encouraged to supply the following information to the point of contact below: product literature, catalogs, pricing, availability, test data to date, etc. Information provided shall address the following: design characteristics to include specific methods of attachment to the current P226, performance data to include signature reduction (sound pressure level and muzzle flash), effects on accuracy and weapon function/reliability, and corrosion resistance. Rough order of magnitude cost data including unit prices indicating available quantity discounts shall also be provided. The closing date of this request is 30 June 1999.
