This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68836-99-T-0044 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11 and DFARS Change Notice 990511. The standard industrial code is 3585 and the business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is for a fixed priced order for two line items as follows. Line Item 0001: Quantity 1 Each; Item Description: Air conditioning unit (Addison's part number: Model PCA 361) brand name or equal to handle the following specifications; Air Flow 3800 CFM, @74 deg F db temp and 55%RH, 339,000 BTU, power 460 volt, 3 phase, 60 KW. Line Item 0002: Quantity 1 Each; Item Description: Industrial Heat Pump(Addison's part number PH254F) brand name or equal to meet the following specifications: 20 Ton Heat Pump, 45KW @ 280V -- 3 phase. Both units require standard commercial exterior ducting. Delivery of all items is required not later than 60 days after award of order to be delivered FOB destination to: Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity, Receiving Officer, Bldg 1488, NS Mayport, Florida 32228. Acceptance shall be at destination. The Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1: Paragraph(h), Multiple awards -- Delete entire paragraph and substitute "award. The Government plans to award a single order resulting from this solicitation." Quoters are required to complete and include a copy of the following provisions with their proposals: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items.
