System Requirement. The specific requirement is for an AH-64A Apache egress training system that replicates the AH-64 Apache helicopter front airframe, tandem crew configuration, and the interior cockpit components. The egress training system must replicate the interior size of an AH-64 Apache helicopter, including all obstacles that impede emergency egress from the aircraft. The port sections of the instrument panels of both the pilot and gunner positions in the egress training system must be equipped with emergency exit release mechanisms. These release mechanisms must be able to be activated from either the pilot or gunner position and/or by the egress training system instructor or diver.
