Steel sheets are 40 feet long and are to be driven approximately 30 feet. Sixty-five (65) drilled soil anchors are to be installed to provide an anchor system. Over 132 12" diameter timber piles will be driven to provide timber fender system, including over 1600 l.f. of 12"X12" timber fender strips. Timber piles are to be 36.5 feet long (every fourth one to be 40' long) and are to be driven approximately 25 feet. A steel channel wale made up of two MC 10 X 28.5 channels, is to be welded to the steel sheets as part of the structural support system. The wale is to extend the full 525 feet. Three 3-1/4" steel tie rods are to be installed to provide the anchor system for the 22 feet long steel sheetpile return wall.
