Modification to the existing roadway will include approximately 120' of regrading, excavation and compaction of the existing roadbed, earth berms and fill slope at the crossing site along with approximately 300 l.f. of roadway widening (approximately 5 ft. additional width required) along the existing roadway cutbank located below the drainage crossing area. Excavated material from the roadbed widening area (approximately 750 c.y.) will be hauled and placed in non-compacted piles around designated portions of the existing saddle area located approximately 1.3 miles above the roadway widening site.
