Work consists of providing all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary to paint the exteriors of Military Family Housing (MFH) units at Seymour Johnson AFB NC. The work involved includes, but is not limited to, the following: (1) Painting all existing wood siding, wood soffits, and carport ceiling/screens, trim, etc., and replacing any deteriorated wood on designated units in Area A (wood- sided units); (2) Painting existing drip edges on units in Areas A, B, and C; (3) Painting wood privacy fences on units in Areas A, B and C, and replacing any deteriorated wood; (4) Painting existing wood exterior doors (inside and out) on units in Area A, and painting existing metal-clad doors (inside and out) in Area B. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings. This will be a Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite- Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) construction contract. The performance period is one (1) base year with one (1) option year.Multiple awards for this requirement will not be made. The guaranteed minimum contract amount including the option is $300,000.00 and the maximum contract amount is $1,500,000.00. The minimum amount per task order is $20,000.00, and the maximum amount per task order is $500,000.00. The proposed contract listed here is unrestricted and open to all firms, including small and small disadvantaged concerns. The applicable Standard Industry Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 1721 with a three-year average annual small business size standard of $7 million. The successful contractor will be selected using performance/price tradeoff procedures resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Performance is significantly more important than price. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 14 Jun 99 on the Government_s Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available.
