16 -- ELECTRONIC REPAIR SUPPORT ACTIVITY (ERSA) SOL N68335-99-R-0229 DUE 061599 POC Darla M. Kelly (732) 323-7437 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst NJ, intends to issue a Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity contract with Northrop Grumman to provide for Repair of Repairables (ROR) of F-14 aircraft naval assets. The Electronic Repair Support Activity (ERSA) will provide to NAVAIR and NAWCAD Lakehurst material and services to repair and return Ready for Issue (RFI) condition F-14 avionics, airframe and support equipment assets. ERSA will also incorporate necessary modifications to bring all F-14 assets inducted into their facility up to the current production configuration and return RFI assets to respective Fleet activities. Monthly reports identifying assets inducted and status of repair/modification will be required. It is intended that the period of performance will be for one year with two one-year options. Services will begin on or about October 01, 1999. The Government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own data, drawings, software or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
