acquisition was previously posted in Jul 98 as solicitation Nr.
F09603-98-R-81757. The new solicitation Nr. is F09603-99-R-82696. This
is a requirement for a long-term repair contract in support of the
AN/AAQ 14/20 LANTIRN system. This will be a requirements contract with
a basic year of 12 months, plus 4 options years of 12 months each. The
following NSNs/part numbers apply: NSN 1270-01-365-9471, p/n
60510990-49, Laser transmitter receiver, BEQ 3 ea; NSN
1240-01-416-6726, p/n 60511700-39,wavelength switch, BEQ 16 ea; NSN
5860-01-442-7503, p/n 60511266-1, laser rod, BEQ 40 ea; NSN
1240-01-399-8621, p/n 60511615-19, pockel cell assy, BEQ 8 ea. BEQs for
each option will be the same as the basic BEQs cited above. In
addition, there will be FMS requirements of 1 ea BEQ for each of the
above NSNs. Approximate issue date of solicitation is 16 Jun 99;

contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the
appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will
maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The
Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in
