The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) plans to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) under the Simplified Acquisition procedures, for a vendor to provide a paper that addresses elderly housing issues. The objectives of this project is to summarize the state of knowledge on the variety of issues involving elderly housing, to identify the most important research topics in the fields of housing and related services for the elderly and to place these important policy and program issues in the context of the evolving of gerontology. The vendor must have demonstrated expertise in and research on elderly housing and related services. A formal RFQ will be issued on or about 06/11/99. All request for the RFQ shall be faxed, on company letterhead, only to Catherine Pinkney (202) 708-2933. No telephone request will be accepted.
