This position is located in Washington, DC. The incumbent of this professional services contract position is to serve as the Latin American Security Advisor in developing, coordinating, organizing, implementing and overseeing operational programs, strategy, planning and foreign assistance for the Office Director. Additionally, serve as Liaison Officer/main point of contact to major USG interdiction agencies. The minimum qualifications include: must be a U.S. citizen; qualifies for a Department of State Top Secret Clearance; at least ten years military or comparable operational experience applicable to international narcotics control and low intensity conflict programs, knowledge of U.S. human rights policies and their application/observance in counternarcotics operations; Spanish language proficiency (2/2 oral and written); foreign area (Latin America) military experience; knowledge of U.S. Defense policies, DOD management structures to include military unified combatant commands, DOD decision-making process, DOD resources and DOD budgeting cycle.
