The United States Postal Service (USPS) is soliciting proposals for Demolition/Renovation of the USPS Church Street Station, 90 Church Street, New York, NY 10007. This is a Cost Reimbursable plus Fixed Fee Contract with a Guaranteed Maximum Price and a Shared Savings clause. This Solicitation is limited to those offerors placed on the Prequalified List as a result of Solicitation 512582-99-A-0003. The estimated construction cost of the project is between 25 to 30 million dollars with construction duration of 900 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed Phase II. The contract will be divided into two phases. Phase I will be for Pre-Construction Services as defined in the solicitation. Phase II will be an option for the Demolition/Renovation of the facility. Upon approval of 100% design, if the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and Phase II Construction Services schedule can be agreed upon, the Phase II option will be exercised. Failure to reach an agreement on the GMP or schedule will preclude the exercise of the Phase II: Construction Services option.
